A few weeks back, I kept hearing a noise in the woods that sounded like a flock of birds. I'd hear it in the middle of the night when walking the dogs. When I heard it this particular night right before sunset, I went into the woods to investigate. When I came upon this small pond, I saw a splash splash of circles. I waited for long time nearby to see what would surface. The only thing I ever saw was one small frog. Upon further inspection, I also saw strings of frog eggs. I'm deducing that there were a large number of frogs in the small pond all calling out to one another to find mates. I suppose I should go back and check the tadpole population.

I was thinking about the Easter Bunny today when I remembered this photo taken years ago in Green Lane park when I was on a walk in the woods. It's an old decaying tree trunk, but it looked just like a rabbit hiding in the forest.
